Sul Ross State University men's and women's track and field teams will compete on the same schedule for the 2017 season.

HUNTSVILLE-Jermaine Steven medaled in the men's long jump with a third place leap of 7.18 meters at Saturday's last chance qualifier meet hosted by Sam Houston State University.

LUBBOCK- Jermaine Stevens, Richard Snyder, James Davis and Hason Lipsomb won the 4X100 clocking in at 41.63 at Friday's Masked Rider Open hosted by Texas Tech University.

ABILENE-Six gold finishes and a pair silver medals are what the Sul Ross men's track and field team accounted for during the final day of competition at the 2016 American Southwest Conference Track and Field Championships hosted by McMurry University.

ABILENE-Juniors Terrelle Owens and Richard Snyder accounted for a pair of second place finishes in the preliminary competition during day one of the ASC Track and Field Championships.

SAN ANTONIO- Junior sprinter Richard Snyder clocked in at 48.85 for second place out of 24 runners and recorded a personal season best in the 400 meter dash at Saturday's University of the Incarnate Word Invitational.
