Kisute Kiboko and Rodney Wallace, who will be inducted into the Wayland Baptist Athletics Hall of Honor at 9:30 a.m. Saturday along with former track coach Rick Beelby and former Flying Queen Hazel Taylor, spoke Thursday afternoon with Wayland's track and field and cross country student-athletes. Both Kiboko, an 18-year U.S. Navy veteran who traveled here from Tokyo, and Wallace, first-year assistant principal at Estacado Junior High, were multi-year all-Americans. Among other things, they spoke to the student-athletes about the importance of making the most of their talents and educational opportunities.
