The No. 13 Texas Tech men's track & field team needed some huge marks to qualify for nationals in the long jump and 4 x 400 meter relay, and they got those marks on Saturday at the Arkansas Open, in Fayetteville, Ark.

Cierra White, Le'Tristan Pledger and Kole Weldon etched their names in the Texas Tech track & field record books once again at the Red Raider Open, in Lubbock, on Friday.

The Texas Tech No. 13 men's and No. 14 women's track & field teams will play host to the Red Raider Open on Friday, Feb. 20, in Lubbock, with a small faction traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Arkansas Open, on Feb. 21.

Texas Tech men's and women's track & field teams remained in the top 15 once again this week, holding the No. 13 and No. 14 spots, respectively, in the U.S Track & Field And Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) computer rankings.

The usual suspects led the way for the No. 12 women's and No. 14 men's Texas Tech track & field teams at the Tyson Invitational, in Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday.
