Philipp Baar has been named the Southland Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Week, the conference announced today. This is the third Southland weekly honor of the season for the senior.

The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's cross country team finished first overall at the Incarnate Word Invitational. Sophomore Edgar Martinez fought through the tough conditions and ran a career-best 24:55.5 in the 8k race en route to a third-place finish.
