It's only been a week, but Wayland Baptist's head coaches in five fall sports mostly like what they've seen after the first few days of workouts with their teams.

Wayland Baptist University has extended its relationship with Under Armour, one of the most innovative providers of sports clothing and accessories in the world.

Three Wayland Baptist student-athletes – Hildon Boen, Conner Carpenter and Janelle Durrough – have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 track and field/cross country team.

Dance team member Kyli Smith was recognized with the Roscoe Snyder Award honoring her as the top senior athlete at Wayland Baptist University during the Spring Athletic Banquet held Sunday evening in the Laney Center.
